1在语法填空中，冠词的考查是高频考点之一，解题时，如果在名词前设空，(即便是名词前有形容词修饰)，名词前一般都要填入冠词。例如：1．(2013·广东)“Inthebeginning，therewasonly__a__verysmallamountofunfairnessintheworld，buteveryoneaddedalittle，...”2．(2012·广东)Butshequicklyrealizedthatitwasn'ther，anditwasprobablythefactthatshesatin__the__lastrow.
23．(2011·广东)Isatnexttothemanandintroducedmyself.Wehad__an__amazingconversation.4．(2010·广东)Ayoungman，whiletravelingthroughadesert，cameacrossaspringofclearwater.__The__waterwassweet.5．(2009·广东)Besides，shoppingatthistimeoftheyearwasnot__a__pleasantexperience：peoplesteppedonyourfeet...确定要填入冠词后，一定要结合上下文语境，根据冠词的基本用法，填入不定冠词(a或an)，或定冠词(the)，近几年来还没有考查过零冠词，但也要引起考生的注意，不可忽略。

51．冠词的位置(1)冠词与名词连用，总是置于名词之前，有形容词修饰名词，也置于名词前，如Thepotatoisavegetable，notafruit.Inthetrain，wefoundanemptythirdclasscarriage.(2)形容词前有so，as，too，how修饰时，不定冠词a须置于形容词之后、名词之前，如Itwassowarmadaythatwedecidedtogotothesea.
6(3)指示代词such与感叹词what总是置于不定冠词a之前，如：Howeverdidyoumakesuchamistake?Whatalovelyday!(4)副词quite，rather常置于不定冠词a之前。(5)不定代词all，both和副词double须置于定冠词the之前，如：Allthebirdswereasleep.
